Storyline:
Young man in 1940 increased family in Alabama after his wife left him for an Englishman and moved to England. When the wife dies, leaving the claim brought back to Alabama to be buried, and at that point, a person who is not seen him for nearly 30 years. The two families - her original family left, and her English family - meet and try to adapt to each other, with uneven results.
